Privacy policy

This policy explains what personal data Pegaso collects through pegaso.ar, why, and what you can do about it. It covers the website and its contact form. People who record for Pegaso are covered by the consent agreement they sign before each project, which sets out how their recordings are used.

1. Who is responsible for your data

Pegaso, based in Buenos Aires, Argentina, is the controller of the personal data described here. For anything related to this policy, write to contact@pegaso.ar.

2. What we collect

We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies, and we do not build profiles of visitors.

3. Why we use it

We process contact data on the basis of your consent, which you give when you send the form or write to us, and, where applicable, on our legitimate interest in replying to business inquiries and securing our systems. We will not send you marketing you did not ask for, and we never sell personal data.

4. Who else sees it

Only the people at Pegaso who need it to reply to you, and the providers that keep the site and our email running, who process data on our behalf. The site also loads fonts from Google Fonts and scripts from jsDelivr: when your browser requests those files, those providers receive your IP address under their own privacy policies. We may disclose data when the law requires it.

5. International transfers

Some providers may store or process data outside Argentina. When that happens we rely on providers that offer adequate safeguards for personal data.

6. How long we keep it

We keep inquiries for up to 24 months after our last exchange, unless they turn into a commercial relationship, in which case we keep what that relationship and the law require. Server logs are kept for the shorter period set by our hosting provider.

7. Your rights

You can ask us at any time to access, correct, update or delete your personal data, and you can withdraw your consent. If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you can also object to processing, ask us to restrict it, and ask for a copy of your data in a portable format. Write to contact@pegaso.ar and we will answer within the time limits set by law: in Argentina, ten calendar days for access requests and five working days for corrections or deletion.

If you are in the EEA or the UK you may also complain to your local data protection authority.

8. Security

The site is served over HTTPS, access to inquiries is limited to the people who handle them, and we review our providers' security practices. No system is perfectly secure, so if we ever learn of a breach that affects your data, we will tell you and the authorities as the law requires.

9. Minors

This site is meant for businesses. We do not knowingly collect data from people under 18.

10. Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top. Significant changes will be flagged on the site.
